The petitioner alleges violation of the order dated 10.03.2023 passed in DRC No.138 of 2013 passed by the Chairman, Grievance Redressal and Disputes Resolution Committee, SAS Nagar, Mohali, exercising the powers under Section 20 of The Street Vendor (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014. Learned counsel for the respondent has placed on record copy of the order dated 09.08.2023 passed in CWP-17206-2023, wherein raising a similar grievance, the writ Court has directed the District Disputes Redressal VISHNU 2023.09.04 14:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh

COCP-1845-2023 -22023:PHHC:115593 Committee to dispose of the lis within a period of two weeks from the date of passing of the order dated 09.08.2023. It is further submitted that the order passed by the District Disputes Redressal Committee is appealable before the Local Authority, Municipal Corporation, SAS Nagar, Mohali. In view of the above, present petition is rendered as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to avail the alternative remedy, in accordance with law.
