3. Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? --- Surya Kant, J. (Oral) The petitioner is stated to be a victim of '1984 antiSikh-riots'. He has been issued a Red Card. It is averred that claim of the petitioner for allotment of LIG Flat as per the Government Policy was considered and in a draw of lots, Dwelling Unit No.480 was allotted to him vide letter of intent dated 17.08.2013, however, the allotment letter was sent at a wrong address which the petitioner never received. Resultantly, he could not avail the benefit of allotment of dwelling unit. The petitioner, after coming to know above the above-mentioned allotment, has been running from pillar to post but finding no response, he served a legal notice dated 05.06.2015 (P-2) but that too is also awaiting reply even though the Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana did ask the Estate Officer, GLADA, to reply the same.

CWP No.17639 of 2015 [2] It is stated that the petitioner is a Juice Vendor and having regard to the financial condition of his family, the allotment letter deserves to be renewed.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the averments made in the writ petition coupled with the fact that the letter of intent was indeed issued to him, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Chief Administrator, GLADA, Ludhiana, to ascertain the correct facts and if it is found that letter of intent was sent on a wrong address, take the remedial steps within a period of two months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.

Ordered accordingly.
