Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that Neelam, daughter of petitioner No.1 had married with Sanju, respondent No.4. They got protection orders from the Court at Ferozepur on 04.06.2019. The petitioners had given affidavits to the police that they have no objection to the marriage of Neelam with respondent No.4, still respondent No.3 is calling the petitioners time and again to the police station in order to harass them.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur to look into the grievance of the petitioners as put forth by learned counsel for the petitioners and issue necessary directions to respondent No.3 in the matter.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioners from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against them in accordance with law.
