Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for directing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to register the FIR against the respondent Nos.4 to 7 as well as for issuing directions to respondent No.1 that the matter be inquired by Crime Branch Investigation.

Learned State counsel on instructions from SI Harbhajan Singh submits that there was a common complaint which was submitted by the petitioner along with 4 more persons, who were also victims of the fraud that was allegedly committed by respondent Nos.4 to 7 as they had taken a sum of Rs.3,58,500/- from the petitioner on the pretext of sending his son abroad for the purpose of study in the year 2019 and FIR No.802, dated 13.11.2019, under Sections 420, 406, 120-B IPC at Police Station Civil Line Karnal has been registered. Three accused, who were named in the FIR, were arrested. However, one of the accused Ankur Goyal 2023.08.23 15:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-31658-2020 (O&M) 2023:PHHC:107668 -2whose name surfaced based on the disclosure statement of another co-accused, is absconding. Efforts are being made to arrest him. In the challan presented the amount involved including that of the petitioner is Rs.1,00,86,700/-. The matter is now fixed for framing of charges. The petitioner is duly associated in the case as a witness. One of the 4 victims is the complainant. 3.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present case.
