(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking direction to respondents No.1 to 4 to decide the representations (Annexures P-6, P-8 and P-10) submitted by the petitioner before the official respondents No.2 to 4, in terms of the order dated 02nd August, 2016 (Annexure P-2), passed by this Court in CWP No. 4464 of 2016, titled as "Amresh Kumar Vs. State of Punjab and others". A further prayer for restraining the private respondents No.5 to 15 for not raising further constructions over the area/land involved in dispute as mentioned in CWP No. 4464 of 2016 (Annexure P-1) has also been made.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to the alternative remedies, for redressal of his grievance, as may be available to him, in accordance with law.
