Present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of impugned termination order dated 23.06.2020 (P-7) passed by respondent No.3.

CWP-16662-2020(O&M) -2Today, learned State counsel, on instructions from Pargat Singh, Assistant Superintendent, D.I.G. Jail Department, Amritsar, has apprised this Court that against the impugned termination order, statutory appeal was preferred by the petitioner and the same has been dismissed by the Appellate Authority on 12.10.2020.
The above factual position is duly acknowledged by learned counsel for the petitioner and wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail the remedy as per law and challenge the impugned termination order dated 23.06.2020 (P-7) as well as order dated 12.10.2020.
