The present petition has been filed by the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.47 dated 15.04.2025, registered under Sections 125, 190, 191(3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act at Police Station Sarhali, District Tarn Taran. 2.
Vide order dated 21.05.2025, passed by this Court, the petitioner was granted interim bail and was directed to join investigation. 3.
Short reply by way of affidavit filed by learned State counsel is taken on record. He, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, has submitted that that the petitioner has joined investigation on 27.05.2025. Recovery of 8 empty cartridges have been effected from the petitioner and he is not required for custodial interrogation. Keeping in view the above mentioned facts and circumstances, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 21.05.2025, granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 (analogous to Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure).
