Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) (Group-C) Services, as the name of the petitioner was shown in the result dated 01.12.2016 (Annexure P-4) as well as in the notice for scrutiny dated 27.04.2019 (Annexure P-7) and to decide the representation dated 10.12.2018 (Annexure P-6).

At the outset, learned State counsel draws the attention of this Court towards letter dated 13.10.2022 issued by the Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, vide which the recommendation list of 746 candidates, including the petitioner at Sr. No. 524, was sent to the Director General, Elementary Education Department, Haryana.
