(Oral) Learned counsel are ad idem that the matter is squarely covered by the judgment in 'Punjab State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited and another versus The Appellate Authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act and others' in CWP-7280-2016 decided August 30, 2018. The Corporation is, thus, at liberty to act as per the questions of law decided therein. In view of the above, no further adjudication of the matter is necessary. It is disposed of in the same terms as CWP-7280-2016. Needless to observe that if any order has been passed so far contrary to the proposition of law laid down in the case of Punjab State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited and another (supra), same would not stand in the way of the Corporation and will be deemed to be inoperative.
