*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no objection if he is directed to appear before the Medical Board for the assessment of the type and percentage of permanent disability but the only grievance is that the petitioner is being harassed.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondent-State of Haryana submits that the petitioner should appear before the Medical Board and in case, he is suffering from any permanent disability, which is covered under the Rules/Instructions in order to claim reservation and if it is so certified by the Medical Board, appropriate action will be taken qua the claim of the petitioner. Keeping in view the above recorded statements by the respective parties, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Civil Surgeon, Jind on 01.08.2023 at 10.00 a.m and the Medical Board will be constituted in the Civil Hospital, Jind by the Head of the said Institution.

The petitioner will be examined with regard to his permanent disability and appropriate report will be made within a period of two days of the examination and the same will be given to the petitioner with a copy being sent to the concerned Department of respondent-State of Haryana. It is further observed that appropriate action will also be taken on the said report by the Authority concerned. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the order passed today, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further.
