The petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction to the official respondents to protect her life and liberty as she apprehends danger from respondents No.6 to 8. Before approaching this Court, she had submitted the representation dated 19.09.2020 (Annexure P-1) to respondents No.2 and 3.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case a direction is issued to the concerned official respondents to examine the representation dated 19.09.2020 (Annexure P-1). Without adverting to the merits of the petitioner's allegations at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to Police Commissioner, Ludhiana and Senior Superintendent of Police, Mogarespondents No.2 and 3, respectively, to consider the representation dated SAVITA KADIAN 2020.10.08 17:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh
CRWP No.8117 of 2020 {2} 19.09.2020 (Annexure P-1) and thereafter, to take appropriate steps as warranted, in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is any imminent threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, then it be ensured that no harm is caused to the petitioners.
A copy of this order alongwith copy of representation, Annexure P-1 be sent to the Police Commissioner, Ludhiana and Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga-respondents No.2 and 3 respectively, to enable them to do the needful expeditiously.
