Prayer through instant appeal has been made for enhancement of compensation awarded to appellant-claimant by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Karnal (in short the 'Tribunal'), vide award dated 21.04.2009.

During the course of arguments, Mr. Vinod Gupta, learned counsel for respondent No.2-Insurance Company has offered `2.5 lakh over and above the amount awarded by the Tribunal, which has been accepted by learned counsel for the appellant-claimant.

In view of above, appeal is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 - Insurance Company to deposit `2.5 lakh before the RAVINDER SINGH 2019.07.26 14:07 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Tribunal within one month from today for onward disbursement of the same

-2FAO No.4417 of 2009 to the appellant against proper receipt and identification. In case aforesaid amount is not deposited within stipulated time, Insurance Company would be liable to pay the same with interest @15% from the date of this appeal till realization.
