Present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for seeking pre-arrest bail to the petitioner(s) in case FIR No. 452 dated 27.12.2017, registered under Section(s) 22 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Phillaur, District Jalandhar Rural. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that earlier, petitioner was admitted to regular bail by the learned trial Court, but his bail was cancelled on 28.05.2019 as he had noted down the incorrect date. Learned counsel further contended that petitioner is ready to surrender before the learned trial Court and furnish fresh bail and surety bonds. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Monika Jalota, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent. A copy of paperbook be provided to her during the course of the day. Criminal Misc. No. M-29033 of 2019 directions that in case petitioner surrenders before the learned trial Court within a period of one week from today and moves an application for releasing him on regular bail, the learned trial Judge shall release him on his furnishing fresh bail and surety bonds. However, the learned trial Judge shall be at liberty to complete the proceedings against the petitioner under Section 446 Cr.P.C.
