In the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, at Chandigarh Civil Writ Petition No. 16915 of 2016 Date of Decision: 22.08.2016 Kamaljit ... Petitioner(s)

Versus

State of Punjab and Others ... Respondent(s)

CORAM:

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Mahesh Grover.

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Shekher Dhawan.

Present:

Mr. Sandeep Arora, Advocate for the petitioner(s).

Mahesh Grover, J.

The prayer made in the instant writ petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 6 to remove the dirt and garbage thrown in the village street, in front of the house of the petitioner and other villagers and also to restrain respondents No.7 to 11 from throwing dirt/garbage in the street in front of the house of the petitioner. We are not inclined to entertain this petition as we are unable to answer the prayer which lies purely in the domain of the respondent-authorities. Since the petitioner has already submitted a representation (Annexure P-7), we, therefore, dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the authorities to consider the representation (Annexure P-7) and take a decision thereon as expeditiously as possible.
