This petition has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the pending GPF payments to the petitioner.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Mr. Vikram Batish, Sr. Asstt., DHFW, Punjab, submits that though in para 5 of the affidavit of Adarshpal Kaur, Director Health & Family Welfare, Punjab, dated 20.07.2023, it was stated that interest amount of Rs.10,907/- and Rs.3785/- was to be adjusted, as was inadvertently paid, however, the same is not to be recovered. 3.

This satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.
