*** Harsimran Singh Sethi J. (Oral) CM-18013-CWP-2017 Present application has been filed for impleading the applicants as respondents No. 5 and 6 in the present petition. Keeping in view the averments made in the application, which are duly supported by an affidavit, present application is allowed. The applicants are allowed to be impleaded as respondents No. 5 and 6 in the present writ petition and the amended memo of parties attached with the present application is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had raised a claim for the grant of compassionate appointment after, his father, namely, Amarjeet Singh, who was working with the Punjab Police, had unfortunately died while in service.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after the death of the father of the petitioner, the claim raised by the petitioner for the grant of compassionate appointment was being contested by the private respondents on the ground that she is the wife of deceased, Amarjeet Singh and is entitled for compassionate appointment.

Learned counsel for the parties submits that now the parties have already compromised their dispute and as per the compromise, the petitioner, namely, Harwinder Singh, will claim the benefit of compassionate appointment and no dispute will be raised qua his said entitlement. 4.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that keeping in view the agreement between the parties, which they have arrived at in the Mediation Centre of this Court, the claim of the petitioner will be considered for the grant of compassionate appointment in accordance with law and an appropriate order on the said claim will be passed within a period of three months of the receipt of copy of this order and in case, it is found feasible to grant the benefit as being claimed, the same will be granted, otherwise due reasons will be mentioned in the speaking order for not accepting the claim and the said order will be conveyed to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 6.
