The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227/21 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 BNSS (Corresponding to Section 482 Cr.P.C.) for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction especially in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents not to illegally harass, threaten, detain or arrest the petitioners, who are senior citizens/old aged persons aged about 71 years and 67 years respectively, pursuant to summons/notices dated 17.04.2026 (Annexure P-12) and 23.04.2026 (Annexure P-14) issued in connection with Complaint No. 407-DW/EOW dated 01.04.2026 and Complaint No. 428-EOW-II dated 02.04.2026 pending before Respondent No.3, without following due process. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have cooperated with the inquiry proceedings and have duly responded to every notice issued by the authorities, and therefore, there exists no RENU RAWAT 2026.05.15 16.20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

I have heard the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent that, in case the petitioners are required for investigation in the aforementioned complaint, a three days prior notice shall be served upon them in accordance with law. 7.
