*** P.B.BAJANTHRI, J. (ORAL) In the instant petition the petitioners have questioned the validity of order dated 14.08.2014 (Annexure P-8) passed by the respondent No.3 by which the petitioner's claim for regularization from the date of appointment has been rejected.

The petitioner was appointed as Water Pump Operator on 14.08.1984 in the Public Health Engineering Department. His services have been regularized with effect from 01.04.1993 with reference to the order of regularization. Now he intents to get the date of regularization modified to the extent that from the date of appointment, his services are required to be regularized or in alternative from the date of the 5th respondent, whose services have been regularized.

The petitioner had the cause of action as and when his services are regularized with effect from 01.04.1993 for the purpose of alteration of the date of regularization. He has presented this petition only in the year 2014, therefore, on the ground of delay and latches, the petitioner is not SUNIL DEVI 2017.03.24 15:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-18614-2014 -2entitled for alteration of date of regularization from 01.04.1993 to any prior date.

Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed on the ground of delay.
