(Oral) This is a petition for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 in case bearing FIR No.262 dated 13.07.2024 under Sections 15(c) of NDPS Act, 1985 (Section 27(A), 61 and 85 of NDPS Act, 1985 added later on) registered at Police Station Agroha, District Hisar.

The case of the prosecution is that one Ajay, Kuldeep and Kamal were found in possession of 132.360 Kgs of poppy husk. Thereafter, in a disclosure statement, they named one Govind Bhat and Pritam, resident of Rajasthan, however, after a period two days, the name of the present petitioner i.e. Pritam resident of Agroha, Hisar instead of Pritam resident of Rajasthan, surfaced in the disclosure statement of the co-accused. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that that he is not involved in any other case and he has wrongly been named in the present case due to enmity with the co-accused.

Since the recovery of the alleged contraband is of heavy quantity amounting to commercial quantity, no ground is made out to grant the concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the present petition is accordingly, dismissed.
