Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Petitioner seeks a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to furnish him information regarding inclusion of Section 494 IPC in the final report (under Section 173 Cr.P.C) submitted by the investigating agency before the competent court. On a query being put to learned counsel about the right if any vested with the petitioner to seek information regarding the manner in which the investigation has been conducted, no clear answer is forthcoming. Petition is without any merit and the same is hereby dismissed. However, petitioner shall be at liberty to avail alternate remedy if any available to him. (Rajan Gupta) Judge July 03, 2017.
