The present petition has been filed under Section 582 of BNSS, 2023, for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to hand over the investigation of FIR No.139 dated 11.10.2024 registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station City Dugri, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana to some higher police official or to the police of some other District and conduct the investigation in free and fair manner.

Learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to invoke alternative appropriate remedy on the same cause of action in accordance with law for redressal of grievances raised in the present petition.
