***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner claims that he ought to have been appointed as Constable in District Police Cadre as per the merit and option given by him. Learned counsel submits that petitioner shall be satisfied, in case, a speaking order is passed by the competent authority to show that both criteria have been followed.
Learned State counsel, at the outset, submits that speaking order shall be passed by the competent authority within six weeks. In view of the above, no cause of action survives in this petition and is hereby disposed of.
