Petitioner has filed the instant petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to recast the seniority of the petitioner as Deputy Superintendent of Police from the date from which his juniors were promoted as per tentative seniority list dated 7.3.2017 (P-4). At the time of hearing,learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petitioner with liberty to file a fresh one with better particulars.
