CORAM:

Present:
Mr. Rakesh Gupta, Advocate, for the petitioner.
**** Rakesh Kumar Jain, J.
This petition is filed by the Food Grain and Allied Workers Union for seeking a direction to respondents No.2 to 5 to ensure the protection of life and liberty of its members, which has been threatened by respondent No.6. The petitioner is seeking a mandamus but no representation/application has been made to the concerned authority before filing this petition as the petitioner has not approached either the Station House Officer of the area concerned or the Superintendent of Police of the District concerned before filing the present petition. Thus, the petitioner may, if so advised, approach the concerned authorities, who are enjoined with the duty of maintaining law and order, before filing the present writ petition.
The present petition is, thus, dismissed on this ground alone. August 22, 2016 (Rakesh Kumar Jain) vinod* Judge Whether speaking / reasoned:
