(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the impugned cancellation order dated 24.06.2024 (Annexure P-7) vide which the transfer order dated 15.06.2024 qua the petitioner has been cancelled on administrative/public interest ground, being illegal, arbitrary and violative of transfer policy dated 16.12.2019 (Annexure P-8) and office order dated 15.06.2024 (Annexure P-9). Further prayer has been made to stay the operation of the impugned order dated 24.06.2024 (Annexure P-7), during the pendency of the present petition. After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a representation questioning his transfer.
