**** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) The petitioners have sought a direction to the respondents to appoint them to the post of Field Inspector.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are meritorious and they have erroneously been declared unsuccessful. Learned counsel for the respondents states that petitioner No.1 has secured 182 marks in general category against cut off marks of 189, petitioner No.2 and 3 have secured 170 and 166 marks in BCA category respectively against cut off marks of 171 marks and petitioner No.4 has secured 170 marks in EBPGC category against cut off of 174 marks.

As the petitioners have secured less marks than the cut off marks obtained by the successful candidates, I do not find any merit in this petition and the same stands dismissed.
