(Oral) Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and having perused the entire petition, this Court does not find any infirmity in the impugned orders (Annexures P-2 to P-4). The petitioner had duly been associated with the inquiry proceedings. It was in the year 2006 that the impugned order dated 15.5.2006 (Annexure P-2) terminating the services of the petitioner was passed by Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar. The appeal challenging the said order was also came to be dismissed vide order dated 25.10.2009 (Annexure P-3) by Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG). Thereafter, the petitioner preferred a revision petition, which was also considered but was turned down vide order dated 13.8.2012 (Annexure P-4) passed by Inspector General of Police, Zone-2, Jalandhar. CWP-15323-2023 (O&M) ( 2 ) 2023:PHHC:091526 The petitioner has now approached this Court after about a decade challenging the said orders. Apart from the fact that there is no merit in the petition, the same also deserves to be dismissed on account of delay and latches.
The instant petition, as such, is dismissed. However, in case, there are any legitimate dues in respect of period prior to the petitioner having been suspended/terminated, the same be paid to the petitioner in case the same are found outstanding.
