1. The petitioner seeks issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent No.4 to conclude the proceedings pending under Section 27 of Haryana Co-operative Societies Act pertaining to the alleged illegal appointments of respondents No.7 to 21.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents No.7 to 21 had been appointed in an irregular manner without adopting any procedure prescribed under the Service Rules and in respect of which the petitioner had made a complaint dated 27.6.2022 (Annexure P-2) and that despite a period of more than one year having elapsed, the proceedings have not been MOHAN SINGH 2023.07.06 19:11 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-14042-2023 (O&M) ( 2 ) 2023:PHHC:085030 concluded and no action has been taken till date and nor the petitioner has been associated with the said proceedings.

3. Notice of motion.

4. On the asking of the Court Mr. Samarth Sagar, Addl. AG, Haryana, who is present in Court accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

5. Learned State counsel has informed that the matter under Section 27 of Haryana Co-operative Societies Act is fixed today before Deputy Registrar and that necessary proceedings would be concluded expeditiously.

6. Having considered the submissions made before this Court, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2-The Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Haryana, to ensure that the proceedings under Section 27 of Haryana Co-operative Societies Act pertaining to appointment of the private respondents are concluded at the earliest preferably within a period of four weeks from today.
