Naresh Kumari v. State Of Punjab
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH CWP No. 21308 of 2013 Date of decision: 10.05.2016 Naresh Kumari ....Petitioner(s)
Versus
State of Punjab and others
...Respondent(s)
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE G.S.SANDHAWALIA
Present:
Ms. Manveen Kahlon, Advocate, for the petitioner.
Mr. Anshul Gupta, AAG, Punjab.
G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) As per the reply filed, the petitioner failed to produce the original certificate of Bachelor of Library Science and also did not have the requisite certificate for the lineal descendant Ex-serviceman for the said post in spite of the interim order in favour of the petitioner which was granted on 25.09.2013, whereby, the petitioner was permitted to participate in the counselling process of the School Librarian. She had only the certificate of B.Ed.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that she is not in a position to produce the original degree since the university which had issued it is no longer running and the certificate cannot be verified and even the course has been declared invalid.
In such circumstances, the writ petition is not maintainable as the respondents are in no position to verify her educational qualifications and the same is dismissed.
