(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioners points out at the outset that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous in view of the fact that vide order dated 12.04.2017 (Annexure R-1), the pay of the petitioners has been stepped up at par with their junior Shri Om Parkash, Kanungo. However, he submits that the benefit of Assured Career Progression Scheme has not been extended to the petitioners. In view of above, this petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous, with liberty to the petitioners to make their representations for grant of benefit of Assured Career Progression Scheme, in accordance with law, if so advised.
