**** AJAY KUMAR MITTAL, J. (Oral) The petitioner in the present writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is seeking quashing of the impugned letter dated 27.06.2016, appended as Annexure P-1, issued by the respondent Corporation, cancelling the One Time Settlement (OTS) Policy, 2009.

It was urged that Annexure P-1 has been issued without affording any opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and thus is contrary to the factual matrix, as the petitioner has complied with the OTS Policy, 2009. 3.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner states that liberty be granted to the petitioner to file a detailed and comprehensive representation to the respondent within a period of one month. However, a prayer was made that a time bound direction be issued to the respondent to decide the same expeditiously. 4.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, perusing the present petition and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the controversy, the writ petition is disposed of by observing that in case such a Jawala Ram 2016.08.27 10:58 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No. 17190 of 2016 - 2 - representation is filed by the petitioner within a period of one month from today, then the same shall be decided by the respondent authority by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of next two months from its filing.
