Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the inquiry report has already been submitted by the inquiry officer but no final decision has been taken by the respondents, and the petitioner's pension and retiral benefits have been withheld.

Taking into consideration aforesaid, the State is directed to take a final decision on the inquiry proceedings initiated against the petitioner and pass final orders within a period of 3 weeks from today and convey the same to the petitioner.
