The petitioners seek issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No.1 to 6 to release the arrears of revised pay for the period 01.01.2006 to 31.07.2009 in accordance with the Punjab Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2009.

Today, at the very outset, learned State counsel has informed that earlier payments in respect of arrears towards the revised minimum pay had been made to petitioners No.11 to 21 and that now the payments towards the revised minimum pay have even been made to the remaining petitioners No.1 to 10.

The aforestated position is not denied by the learned counsel representing the petitioners, who has, however, submitted that there is some deficit in the payments and he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition with PANKAJ KAKKAR 2023.07.06 19:09 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

In view of the aforesaid submission, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
