(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, quashing the impugned order dated 22.12.2017 (Annexure P-5) passed by respondent No.3 whereby the petitioner has been ordered to be posted as Sweeper Mate on temporary basis. Learned counsel for respondent No.3 submits that during the pendency of the present petition, the petitioner has already retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.05.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite his best efforts, he has not been able to get further instructions from the petitioner, therefore, he does not wish to press the present petition, at this stage.

Dismissed as not pressed, at this stage.
