This second round of litigation pertains to challenge to the notifications dated 19.12.2002 and 18.12.2003 issued under Sections 4 and 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for short, `the 1894 Act') respectively, whereby land of the petitioner measuring 1K 1M situated within the revenue estate of village Khairpur, Tehsil and District Sirsa was acquired alongwith a big chunk of land.

Earlier the petitioner challenged the above-stated acquisition on various grounds but a Division Bench of this Court vide judgment dated 05.04.2013 (Annexure P-11) dismissed his writ petition and upheld the acquisition. The aggrieved petitioner approached the Hon'ble Supreme Court but his SLP was also dismissed vide order 01.09.2014 (Annexure P-12). CWP-17200-2016 -2this second attempt, the petitioner seeks the benefit of Section 24(2) of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

Before we could observe anything on merits, learned counsel for the petitioner states that his representation dated 02.11.2014 is pending before the authorities.

In this view of the matter and without expressing any view on merits, we dispose of writ petition with a direction to the Land Acquisition Collector, Sirsa to verify the petitioner's claim and decide his representation in accordance with law preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
