The selection list was published in October 2015 and the petitioner on the basis of his determined merit did not fall within the zone of appointment.

By filing the present petition he has challenged selection of private respondents 3 to 5 namely Gurjant Singh, Shaveta Rani and Nandini in his category inter alia on the ground that petitioner has been wrongly ignored inspite of he being higher in merit than them. At the time of hearing,learned counsel seeks permission to withdraw the present petition so as to enable his client to file a fresh one by annexing relevant documents and recruitment rules.
