   is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.2 and 3 to decide the application dated 21.10.2024 submitted by the petitioner for grant of arms licence.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had submitted an application on 21.10.2024 for grant of arms licence, however, no decision thereon has been taken by the respondents till date.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that he will be satisfied if, at this stage, a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice dated 19.05.2026 (Annexure P-4) served by the petitioner in a time-bound manner.
