The Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, after considering the matter, has already directed the Gram Panchayat, Village Toosa, Tehsil Raikot, District Ludhiana, to file a petition under Section 7 of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961, in the Court of the Collector-cum-District Development and Panchayat Officer, Ludhiana . 2.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is disposed of with a request to the Collector-cum-District Development and Panchayat Officer, Ludhiana, to make sincere endeavours for expeditious disposal of the petition.

With the observations made above, the present writ petition is disposed of.
