The present petitioner becomes aggrieved from a declining order, being made by the Appellate Authority concerned, on his application for staying the verdict of eviction, as became made by the Collector concerned, on a petition constituted by the Gram Panchayat concerned, under Section 7 of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961.

Though normally the declining order, as, made on any interim application, thus seeking stay of the verdict of eviction, may ultimately bring, the ill event of the relief claimed in the statutory appeal, thereby becoming completely frustrated. Moreover, thus obviously for obviating the above sparking of an ill event, the declining order may also become amenable for being quashed and set aside. Nonetheless, in the face of the statutory appeal being listed today for arguments, therefore, the ends of justice would be met in case the Appellate Authority concerned, makes a lawful decision within a week from today hence on the relevant statutory GURPREET SINGH 2023.07.20 11:53 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgement Chandigarh
