Grievance of the petitioner is that he is being summoned by respondent no. 6 in view of dispute regarding membership of Society in question. Learned counsel submits that proceedings under the relevant statute are already pending before the competent authority. Thus, Public Grievances Committee has no jurisdiction to summon the petitioner or hold inquiry. This court finds no ground to interfere in writ jurisdiction as no legal right of the petitioner appears to have been infringed. In case statutory proceedings are already pending, same would continue notwithstanding the fact that Public Grievance Committee is seized of the matter. As regards expeditious decision of the appeal stated to be pending before the State Registrar of Societies, petitioner shall be at liberty to move appropriate application before the said authority.
