Present petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of bail pending trial to the petitioner in FIR No.13 dated 31.01.2020 (P-1), under Sections 22 and 27 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, (offence under Section 29 of the NDPS Act was added later on), registered at Police Station Tanda, District Hoshiarpur.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Amarjit Singh, has appraised the Court that trial is over and petitioner stands acquitted; therefore, the present petition be disposed off as having been rendered infructuous.
