(Oral) The petitioner seeks a direction to the State of Haryana and Collector, Sirsa to pay compensation for his land said to have been utilized for construction of Bandh/dam on the banks of Ghaggar river. The land of the petitioner is situated within the revenue estate of village Ala Noor, Tehsil and District Sirsa. The judgments placed on record passed by the Civil Court in respect of identical claim was upheld by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

In this view of the matter, we dispose of this writ petition without expressing any views on merits, with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner as contained in his representations dated 27.02.2016 and 02.08.2016 (P-8 & P-9, respectively) and decide the same keeping in view the principles laid down in the earlier decisions Mohinder Kumar Kamboj 2016.08.30 16:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh including the Civil Court judgment dated 30.08.2013 passed in the case of
