CWP-1206-2018, has been filed by the petitioners, for seeking directions to respondent No.1 i.e. Labour Commissioner, Haryana, to issue recovery certificates to the petitioners as per settlement dated 08.07.2013, under Section 12(3) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (in short, 'ID Act') (Annexure P-1). 2.

In response thereto, reply dated 26.06.2018, had been filed by the Joint Labour commissioner, Haryana. In paragraph No.2 of the said reply, it has been pleaded that vide letter dated 24.05.2018, recovery certificate amounting to Rs.3,27,33,780/- has been issued in favour of the petitioners, and same has been forwarded to the Collector, Faridabad, for recovering the amount, as arrears of land revenue, under the Revenue Recovery Act, 1980. Thus, learned State counsel submits that in view of the facts narrated in paragraph No.2 of the said reply, present writ JAWALA RAM 2024.02.12 10:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

To confirm the latest status, counsel appearing for the petitioners, seeks a short adjournment.

Today, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, confirms the stand taken by the learned State counsel in regard to the issuance of the recovery certificates in favour of the petitioners, which has already been recorded in the order dated 24.01.2024, passed by this Court. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that for the time being, he is satisfied with the action taken by the respondents, and submits, present writ petition be disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.

Disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. However, Collector, Faridabad (who is not party in the present writ petition) or any other authority, exercising its powers under the law, for the purpose of recovering the amount, as arrears of land revenue under the Revenue Recovery Act, 1980, is expected to finalize the recovery process expeditiously, to disburse the respective amount to the concerned persons.
