CWP-19026-2014 It has been agreed by the counsel for the parties that the relief which has been sought in the present writ petition, already stands paid to the petitioner.

CWP-19026-2014 (O&M) -2been paid to the petitioner in the year 2019, but he should have been paid the same when he became entitled for the same on the revision of the grant of provident fund at a higher rate, as per the notification dated 17.08.2009 (Annexure P-1).

Counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner be given liberty to agitate the grant of interest on the amount so released by the respondents by filing an appropriate representation by giving all the facts and the law.

Counsel for the respondents very fairly states that in case any representation is filed by the petitioner in this regard, the same will be decided expeditiously keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case coupled with the settled principle of law. In view of the above facts, the present writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondents that in case the petitioner files any representaiton claiming the interest on the payments released to him in April, 2019, the same shall be decided by the respondents within a peirod of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
