The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to promote him to the post of Inspector as he has already completed promotion course. He is further seeking direction to respondent to decide his representation dated 14.01.2025.

On 22.05.2025, the following order was passed by this Court:- "Inter alia contends that petitioner passed Lower School Course in 2003-04. He further passed Intermediate School Course as well as Upper School Course and was promoted to the rank of Sub Inspector in 2018. He has not been promoted to the post of Inspector on the sole ground that he was awarded punishment of censure. It is settled proposition of law that promotion cannot be denied on the ground that officer has suffered punishment PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2025.08.13 04:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP No.14866 of 2025 -2of censure. In any case, the petitioner was awarded punishment of censure in 2013.

Mr. Aditya Yadav, Advocate submits that grievance of the petitioner, at this stage, would be redressed if respondents are directed to decide his representation dated 14.01.2025.

Ms. Rajni Gupta, Addl. A.G., Haryana submits that respondent No. 2 would consider representation of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order within three weeks from today, in accordance with law. 5.
Counsel for the petitioner agrees to the aforesaid arrangement. 6.
In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of.
