(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for seeking the issuance of a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the son of the petitioner from the private respondent Nos.6 and 7 and to provide him medical treatment.

The learned counsel for the State, on instructions, submits that the son of the petitioner, namely, Manjinder Singh has been transferred from the Central Jail, Ludhiana to Central Jail, Amritsar and is being provided treatment at PGIMER Chandigarh.

In view of above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.
