The petitioners have approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners as they apprehend threat to the same at the hands of respondents No.3 to 5. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that while petitioner No.1Rashmi is unmarried, petitioner No.2-Parveen Kumar is married to Neeraj, with whom he presently is having matrimonial litigation. 3.

The petitioners are presently living together in a 'live-in' relationship but they apprehend threat to their life and liberty at the hands of respondents No.3 to 5, who are the parents and brother of petitioner No.1-Rashmi. 4.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and without commenting anything on the veracity of averments made in the petition or the sanctity and validity of alleged relationship of the petitioners, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Superintendent of PANKAJ KAKKAR 2020.10.12 18:09 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In case, it is found that there is any imminent threat to life and liberty of the petitioners, then necessary steps as may be warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest.
