Dated Police Station Sections 31.12.2021 Kalanaur, District 21(C), 25, 27(a), 29 of NDPS Gurdaspur Act and 25(8) of Arms Act 1.

The petitioner incarcerated in the FIR captioned above, has come up before this Court under Section 439 CrPC seeking bail.

2. State counsel has opposed the present petition.

3. After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner is already in custody for the last 11 months, as such he would be contended and satisfied if the trial is expedited.

4. Given the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 20.05.2022 as per paragraph 7 of the petition, the trial Court try to complete the trial on or before 09.06.2023 subject to the condition that the petitioner shall not seek any adjournment. In case, the petitioner seeks any adjournment, then this order shall be recalled under Section 362 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. without any further reference to this Court.

5. The present petition stands disposed of with above said observations. All pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
