Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Petitioner is stated to be working as Helper on daily wage basis at Bathinda Depot of Punjab School Education Board since July 2014 with notional breaks.

Prayer in the present petition is for permitting the petitioner to discharge his duties as has been done in the case of similarly situated employees vide order dated 29.3.2016 passed in CWP 5795/2016(P-5). After hearing counsel for the petitioner no case for interference is made out.

A perusal of order at P-5 reveals that petitioners therein and in connected cases are working on daily wage basis/contract basis since November 2009 and are praying for regularization of their services. Apprehending dispensation of their services, on such a request, interim protection was granted during the pendency of claim for regularization of their services.

In the present case, concededly, the petitioner is neither eligible for regularization nor he is seeking consideration for regularization hence Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2016.11.05 15:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
