Sewak, Additional Advocate General, Punjab. ***** JASPAL SINGH, J.(Oral) Through, instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release all the retiral benefits i.e. pension, leave encashment, gratuity and provident fund etc. 2.

In pursuance of notice of motion, respondents have already filed the reply to the writ petition by way of affidavit of Dr. Nanak Singh, IPS, Supdt of Police (Hqrs.), Bathinda.

On the strength of various averments made in the writ petition, it has been submitted by learned State counsel that pension, leave encashment, DCRG and GPF etc. have already been disbursed to the petitioner without any delay. In fact, petitioner stood retired on 30.06.2016 and instant petition was moved in the month of August 2016 and the payments have been made within a period SONIKA 2018.08.18 12:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Since, the payments have already been released to the petitioner, instant petition has rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such. 5.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court.
